Frequently asked questions
Important fitting, pricing and payment details explained before you need to ask.
Is the calculator a guaranteed final quotation?
No. It provides an estimate from the configured rates. Preparation, damp, levelling, damaged boards, adhesive, door alterations and other site conditions may require inspection.
What furniture is included in standard fitting labour?
A normal amount such as one bed or sofa plus several small movable items can usually be handled. Several major items or a substantially furnished room may require two fitters and additional labour.
Will you tell me about extra preparation before doing it?
Yes. Where additional preparation is identified, the work and cost should be explained and approved before it proceeds.
How do residential payments work?
The agreed deposit secures the order and fitting. The remaining balance is paid after the agreed fitting work is complete.
Do all landlord and commercial customers receive 14-day terms?
No. Approved account customers can receive up to 14-day terms, depending on the customer and job.
Can I use the room visualiser before choosing samples?
Yes. The visualiser helps establish colour and style direction; physical samples should still be checked in the room before the final decision.
Can installation be phased or completed outside normal hours?
For commercial projects, phased or evening/weekend installation may be possible where practical and agreed. It is not promised for every project.
Is every uplifted floor recycled?
No absolute claim is made. Coveredd aims to increase responsible recovery and recycling where practical, but routes vary by material and location.
